Welcome!
The New York State Cemetery Association of Cemeteries is pleased to invite you to our 82nd Annual Fall Conference to be held October 3-5, 2010 at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York located just thirty miles east of Syracuse.
The format has been changed this year to make the conference more affordable. It will be a half day shorter than last year and include two rooming options. As always, you will find the conference packed with fun, entertainment, education and recreation.
The golf outing is scheduled for Sunday afternoon followed by dinner and live entertainment by Charlie Thomas’ Drifters. Monday, spouses and guests can participate in a guided nature walk and the past president’s luncheon. Afterwards, they can learn the art of beautiful floral arranging by attending a complimentary flower design workshop made possible by our sponsors.
Our expert speakers will present their timely and informative presentations on Monday and Tuesday. Topics will include updates from the Government and Legal Affairs Committee and the New York State Division of Cemeteries. Keynote, Ken Gronbach, will address the affect of shifting demographics on our present and future. Please take the time to review this year’s exciting program!
The resort has beautiful accommodations, great meeting facilities, five golf courses, spa services, property-wide liquor availability and casino gambling. You will not be disappointed! So, why not return your registration today?
I look forward to seeing you and sharing good times at Turning Stone!
Sincerely,
John P. Toale, Jr.
Conference Chair
P.S. – Sponsors are very important to the success of our conferences and enable us to keep registration fees reasonable. If your company or organization is able to contribute, our Association will be very grateful. Thank you.

Live Musical Entertainment!
Join us for an unforgettable evening where Charlie Thomas’ Drifters will perform the music which has become the sound track of America’s pop culture. The Drifters were phenomenal Atlantic recording artists who appeared 37 times on the pop charts, had five songs in the top ten and the number one single, Save the Last Dance for Me. No other musical group has such instantly recognizable hits as On Broadway…Under the Boardwalk…This Magic Moment…There Goes My Baby…I Count the Tears…and Saturday Night at the Movies.
Out of the two surviving original members of this 50’s musical sensation, Charlie Thomas is the only voice on all The Drifter’s recordings since 1958.
